ACCESS TO THE VILLAGE PLACE
In Loivos da Ribeira the first phase of access to Lugar da Aldeia is underway. The old road was widened and, although it is not yet suitable for the passage of motor vehicles, the popular ones were the first to come to the mayor, congratulating him on the work, which already allows him to move around the area with another convenience. According to Paulo Pereira, there are essentially three, the direct and indirect objectives to be achieved with this work. When all phases of the project are ready, the inhabitants of Loivos da Ribeira, namely those who live in Lugar da Aldeia, will be able to access the place, by car, entering and leaving on the new road that was opened between the Civic Center and the building of the Parish Council.

PAVING EM587 TREASURES

In Tresouras, the mayor saw, in loco, the first phase of paving municipal road 587 on a 6 cm thick bituminous carpet, as well as the adjustment of several sanitation covers. The marking of a pedestrian crossing is now complete. As a balance sheet, and the end of the year was approaching, all the commitments scheduled for 2018 with the 3 parishes visited were fulfilled.

REQUALIFICATION OF THE PRIMARY SCHOOL OF LOIVOS DA RIBEIRA

The requalification works of the old Primary School of the parish are ongoing. This is an undertaking by the Municipality of Baião, worth 41 thousand and 703 euros. The work aims to create a space of encounter and fraternization for the local population. A multipurpose room will be created in this way, intended to be used in different types of activities. It should be noted that this building already has a space given to a local entity, the ACUL association. This contract also includes the creation of showers to support the sports center there. The expansion of this field is being envisaged, and there have already been talks in that direction. The work also provides for different structural arrangements in the old school building, namely in the roof and in the electrical networks, as well as the creation of toilets.
